hi liz! i havent been to a clinique counter recently, but do they have lighter shades for fair [combi-oily] skintones? i wish i knew about this sooner, i just bought my foundation from Face Shop a few days ago :) but im definitely excited to try these as soon as I run out :)

you can see the swatches i have from lightest to darkest. i noticed their foundations can go quite fair (for sure merong something that’s like The Face Shop’s NB21) but have yourself swatched para sure.

for combi-oily skintones, most of the foundations i featured above were actually for that type of skin. since i only got to try the superfit and perfectly real though, i suggest you get the superfit! i’m in love with it. ^_^

speaking of that TFS foundie you blogged about, how is it? ok ba coverage and staying power? ive been seeing that for some time now and i remember being amazed by the dewy finished when i swatched it on my hand.

(i’m drowning in foundation now lol)

i haven’t been to any clinique counter simply because the brand intimidates me! haha! my first try would be when i claim my freebie for being a member of clinique on facebook so i hope i can find a good on-the-go type of foundie…something that would give me a no-makeup look..wish me luck!

Hi Liz! This is a very lengthy reply so please bear with me :D

I actually bought the Span foundie first, only to realize it was super sheer, twas actually just like pressed powder. And then I upgraded to Premier a few months after. It has more coverage and has a somewhat “darker”, more natural shade than Span NB21. So I use the Span for touch-ups na lang.

Since Premier is for Normal-Dry skin, its oil-control powers are satisfactory, but I’m not complaining. I’m usually out all day so I can’t really say re the staying power (with matching pawis ito LOL), but I welcome the SPF 20. Will use this at my upcoming bazaars para I can show you pics. Will see if I look haggard. LOL.

It may take a while for me to try the clinique since I am also drowning in foundies hehe but the description “Absorbs excess oil, wicks away perspiration for an all-day wear” sounds really good ha! Post naman a pic of you wearing it. I’m such a huge fan of your reviews :)
