ELF Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder
January 1, 2009I love this stuff! I’m at my fourth compact, I think. I use it after my finishing powder since it sort of gives a slight natural glow without being too shiny. It helps keep my makeup from looking too flat and too thick. Best thing? It’s only P129.
There’s only one shade available but it’s suitable for all skin tones since the powder comes off as translucent. Apply on the chin, cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and forehead where the light naturally falls. Use a fluffy brush for even application. The only bad thing about this particular powder is that it doesn’t last (much like the average blush). Give it two to four hours and your face will shine—but not in a good way.

hi krisine! i get my elf stuff from Watson’s. where are you based? it’s usually available inside the health and beauty section (watsons) inside SM department stores.
Posted by projectvanity at January 1, 2009, 6:27 pmmaybe it’s just available in the Metro… i’m based in cavite area, so i guess it’s not yet available here or i’m not looking very well.. =p anyways thanks for the response.. have a happy new year…. may beauty be with us. ^_^
Posted by kristine at January 1, 2009, 11:42 pmi live in cavite too actually. there’s elf in sm bacoor, which i frequent.
really?!! i live in dasma, k, i’ll stop by sm bacoor one time.. can’t believe we’re on the same area just 30 mins away…
Posted by kristine at January 2, 2009, 3:25 pmhaha, as they say, its a small world. elf has a small stall near the perfumes in the watson’s inside the department store. it carries most of the line.
thanks Liz….i’ll check it out soon….
Posted by kristine at January 2, 2009, 10:54 pmHey, I was just blog-surfing and I ended up here. I love the E.L.F. line — great quality with an affordable price ($1 at any K-mart). I own mostly eye stuff (eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara) and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
The bronzer doesn’t look too shabby, but I wish I knew how to use it.
OMG. sm bacoor.. im from imus.,
im such a fan, i hope can see you
hi rita! i just saw your comment. anyhoo, if by bronzer you mean the copper one (not the one i reviewed above), you’d need an angled brush for maximum effect. starting from your ears, swipe the bronzer along the hollows of your cheek. youll see them when you make a kissy face. just follow the line. dont forget to blend any harsh color with a dense powder brush or kabuki brush.
lightly dust bronzer along your chin and temples for the sun goddess look.
