Boots Are Love!
May 9, 2008Talking about boots in summer sounds so weird! Haha. But what with all the weird un-summery weather we’ve been having lately in Metro Manila, I’m wanting to wear boots so much. As of the moment, I only have two pairs—a black calf-high, pointy-toed, suede one and a slouchy brown one. I totally can NOT wait for rainy days and cold weather.
Anyway I’ve been browsing the Internet for some boots, and here are a few notes:
1. I don’t like high heels, much less on boots! I love to be comfortable and flat boots are made of love in my eyes.
2. I’m into casual boots. Nothing too flashy or too vampy.
3. All the cool boots are in the US!
Here are some pics:
Sweater Boots! I would totally wear them to school. They’re very wearable in our hot weather. They’re cheap too, you don’t need to shell out more than $20 a pop. I’ll get one of these for the next semester, hopefully.
Cute eh?
Oooh classy and classic.
Good thing these didn’t become that big of a fad here in the Phils. Yeah they’re cute but DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT talking me into thinking that I can wear them as normal boots for normal outfits. They’re rain boots, period. Cute rain boots, but not fashion pieces. And they’re what, around P2,500? ExPENsive.
Anyway, I just hope summer is over, so I can wear boots. ^_^

I have those Plueys rain boots!
heh heh. I bought them last year when it was raining quite often. I commute a lot so I thought it would be less of hassle to walk around not worrying about my legs or feet getting wet. Actually, I’ve been wanting to have wellies ever since I saw some really cute ones back in Hong Kong. I saw Plueys being advertised in ShopCrazy so I bought them (agad. Egh. Impulse buyer here.
) They come with free high socks btw. In rainbow print.
Also a free plastic bag where you can store them.
